Aigul Nurbulatova is a cinematographer from Kazakhstan, born in 1993.

She studied Applied Arts at the College of the Zhurgenov Academy of Arts and graduated in Cinematography from Turan University in Almaty.

Participated in programs such as the Asian Film Academy 2018 and Berlinale Talents 2024

Since 2018, Aigul has been working on feature films, documentaries, and shorts that have premiered at major international festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival, Locarno Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Tokyo International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, Hot Docs, and GoEast ect. Among her notable works are Bad, Bad Winter, which won the Jury Award for Best Cinematography at Queens World Film Festival, and In Flames, nominated for the Caméra d'Or at Cannes 2023
